Izbor glavnog i odgovornog urednika - ZVANIČNO OBJAVLJIVANJE SAJTA THEYLIVE.EU
Nedelja, 10. januar
Zadovoljstvo nam je da vas obavestimo da je objavljen web-sajt theylive.eu međunarodnog projekta „ONI ŽIVE – Studentski životi otkriveni kroz kontekstualne umetničke prakse“ / “THEY: LIVE - Student lives revealed through context-based art practices”.

We are pleased to announce the launch of theylive.eu, the website of the international project THEY: LIVE - Student lives revealed through context-based art practices, supported by the Creative Europe programme and led by the Students’ City Cultural Centre.
The website theylive.eu provides an access to information on the project, its activities, methodology, partners and project-realisation time frames. We would like to use this opportunity to to draw your attention to the interview with the designer Željko Lončar, the creator of the project’s visual identity, as well as to the possibility of downloading two free manuals: one on Oral History and another on Digital Archiving. The manuals were created as a result of the internal training of THEY:LIVE project’s international team and can be of use to other researchers, institutions and organisations involved in similar projects.
Here is a part of the interview with Željko Lončar:
Did the experience of your student life shape you as an artist and designer? If you had a chance, what artwork inspired by your own life as a student would you like to create?
‘That is an interesting question; I grew up in an immediate vicinity of the ‘Students’ City’ in New Belgrade and the best part of my student-days artwork was inspired by the modernist-socialist architecture of my immediate environment and, generally, by the aesthetics of the modernist period after the World War Two. I find the phenomenon of social utopia, a new space for a new society, as well as the entire aesthetics that promotes those ideas, still interesting as a phenomenon in time. So, if I could go back to that period – which would be great, I would certainly be involved in developing such ideas through the graphic art, illustrations and design.’
